About Our Foundation

Improve the living conditions of under-served communities in Pakistan and empower people with education and life skills, regardless of their faith and ethnicity.

Our Story

Sadiq-Sarwar Foundation (SSF) was established in 2021 in loving memory of Mr. Sadiq Mohammed Khan (1923-2008) and Mrs. Mumtaz Begum Khan (1930-2018) by their family in accordance to their wishes to continue the welfare projects that were their passion, in his native village of Juggowala (near Bahawalpur) and other parts of Pakistan.

Mr. Sadiq Mohammed Khan and Mrs. Mumtaz Begum Khan were extremely compassionate people and never refused anyone who needed their help. They were particularly in favor of helping the poor and the desolate stand on their feet through making a halal living. Mr. Sadiq Mohammad Khan himself was a self-made man, rising from poverty, to being a highly educated man who eventually became the top financial director of an oil refinery in Libya. He and his wife Mrs. Mumtaz Begum Khan raised six children who became doctors, engineers and scientists.

Mr. Sadiq Mohammed Khan had great respect for his grandfather, Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Khan, a visionary man who turned barren lands into agricultural land way ahead of his time.

Sadiq-Sarwar Foundation strives to help people in Pakistan get education and skills and improve their living conditions, regardless of their faith and ethnicity. The goals of the foundation are to provide:

  • stipends for education
  • stipends for vocational training
  • help for the needy individuals
  • help people start their own business
  • access to medical clinics
  • help build or upgrade roads, hospitals, schools etc. in villages
  • access to potable water
  • help improve sanitation and hygienic conditions in villages
