Overview
Juggowala has 2 established high schools. The Government Girls High School has over 350 students. This school had a shortage of qualified teachers at all grades. The Government Boys High School has about 325 students and had a shortage of qualified higher grade science teachers.
The foundation purchased a large LCD screen and high speed internet subscription for each of the schools. This allowed the schools to use on-line lessons prepared by the government, or other organizations such as Sabaq Foundation. The schools are taking full advantage of the setup.
The girls school is making sure that every grade has at least one period on the screen.
You can see the excitement of the little girls in the videos as they learn their ABCs Sesame Street style.
The boys school is mostly using it for advanced subjects such as Physics and Biology in higher grades.
