Overview
In February 2025, Sadiq Sarwar Foundation held a 2-day medical camp with the help of medical staff from Transparent Hands Foundation. Mumtaz Khan Foundation Academy provided the venue turning the academy into a temporary hospital. People started lining up for the camp at dawn. The medical camp was a huge success and benefited so many people that we are planning to make this an annual event.
The 2025 camp provided:
- 2 Days
- 6 Doctors (3 males, 3 females)
- 1 Lab Technician
- 1 Pharmacist
- 2 Nurses
- 1 photographer
- 1183 patients seen
- 492 Diagnostic Tests performed
Patients received tests, consultations and medicines (when needed) for their ailments including Jaundice, Diabetes, Cough/Flu, Cataracts, Asthma, Ear Problems, Kidney Pain, Hernia, Dental Problems, Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Neurological Issues, Pregnancy-related issues, Goiter, Hypertension and Heart Diseases, Gastroenteritis, Hernia, Kidney Stones, Urinary Tract Infections, Backache and Joint Pain, Skin Allergies and Scabies, Fever, Headaches, Depression
Most common ailments were found to be Diabetes, Hepatitis A and Skin Rashes.
There were also 2 educational sessions held to make the residents aware on topics of:
- Malnourishment
- Hypertension
